The 45-year-old tennis pro exchanged vows with Preti, 37, on September 18, 2025, in Ischia, Italy followed by a courthouse ceremony and celebration in Palm Beach, Florida on December 19, 2025.

“It was so special to have the ceremony in Andrea’s home country, and it meant even more to us because we met at Milan Fashion Week,” she says. “It was so much more than a beautiful setting, it was where everything started for us, so it felt incredibly natural and right to celebrate our love there.”

The couple's second celebration in Palm Beach also included many personal touches.

“The most meaningful part for me was simply being able to celebrate with the people we love,” Williams explains. “We were really intentional about creating an experience for our guests, something that felt special from start to finish. Every event leading up to the wedding day was designed to bring people together in a thoughtful way.”

She continues: "One of my favorite moments was our sports day, it added a fun, lighthearted energy, and a little friendly competition made it even more memorable."

The 23-time Grand Slam champion added that being on the cover for The Knot for “such a special issue” was “an incredible experience” and she was only happy to recreate her bridal looks.

“I’ve truly loved embracing my bridal era and getting to wear my wedding dresses again was so much fun—it’s made this already special chapter of my life feel even more magical,” she told the outlet. “And sharing moments like these now with my husband, Andrea, makes it all even more meaningful for me.”

Preti told The Knot that getting the marriage license in Florida was one of the most emotional parts of their unification.

"It's a dream," the actor told the outlet. "Because if you thought for all your life that you want to get married one day, and you want to have a family, and the day comes? You know that, of course, you have to [feel it]: That's the day.”

“The emotions I had inside were fireworks—'Yeah, we made it. You know, we are here today. Now let's start, start our new journey together.' Sometimes I cannot talk. I release my emotions. I cry, but I cry with joy, yes. I always wanted to have a family,” he added.

Following the wedding Preti told The Knot that he and his wife have fallen into a new rhythm, but they make sure their relationship is a priority.

"She's a choice. Every day, those small things are also a choice. You don't want to take for granted these types of things," he continued, adding of their daily rituals. "Every morning, we say, 'Good morning. I love you.' I do it because I feel [it], but I also know that this is the right thing to do. To keep a relationship always here, and not, like, let it [decline or fall apart]."

As for Williams, she is still basking in newlywed bliss, saying, "I think it's a wonderful feeling [to be in love].”

"I think it's one thing if you love someone, but you're not ready to spend your life [together]. But when you love someone and you're ready to spend your life with someone, it's just an amazing feeling,” she added. “And it makes all the process that you're going through, like planning and doing—all the stages of getting married—super special, because you really love that person in a way that maybe you didn't love before,."
