As the search for Savannah Guthrie's 84-year-old mom Nancy Guthrie reaches its 24th day, the *Today *anchor announced her family is offering a family reward of up to $1 million for her recovery.

In a video shared to her Instagram on Tuesday, Savannah said that although she and her siblings, Annie and Camron, continue to fight for their mother's safe return, they also acknowledge the bleak reality that Nancy "may be lost."

"We still believe in a miracle, we still believe that she can come home — hope against hope," Savannah said fighting back tears as she added that her family is "aching" for their missing matriarch. "As my sister says, 'We are blowing on the embers of hope.'"

She continued, "We also know that she may be lost. She may already be gone. She may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves and is dancing in heaven with her mom and her dad and with her beloved brother Pierce and with our daddy. If this is what is to be, then we will accept it, but we need to know where she is. We need her to come home."

Savannah also announced a $500,000 donation to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children "for their work and helping families who are coping with loss and actively looking for those who are lost."****"We know there are millions of families that have suffered with this kind of uncertainty. We are hoping that the attention that has been given to our mom and our family will extend to all the families like ours who are in need and need prayers and need support," she told followers.

The broadcast journalist concluded her message with a directive to anyone with information on her mother's whereabouts: "If you hear this message, if you've been waiting and you haven't been sure, let this be your sign to please come forward, tell what you know, and help us bring our beloved mom home so that we can either celebrate the glorious, miraculous homecoming or celebrate the beautiful, brave, and courageous and noble life that she has lived. Please be the light in the dark."

As the video's caption explained, the $1 million family reward being offered is consistent with FBI criteria for payment of its reward in the case. Federal authorities are offering up to $100,000 for information leading to the location of Nancy Guthrie and/or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance. Savannah included the FBI's tip line, with callers able to remain anonymous.

"Someone knows how to find our mom and bring her home," the post's caption reads.

Nancy Guthrie was last seen outside her Tucson, Ariz., home the evening of Jan. 31, after being dropped off by family. The following day, she was declared missing, and a large-scale search was launched. On Feb. 2, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos announced that her disappearance was being investigated as a crime, and declared her home a crime scene, revealing that traces of Guthrie's blood had been discovered on her porch.

More than a week later, on Feb. 10, FBI Director Kash Patel shared the first photos and video footage of a masked man on Guthrie's doorstep that was captured on the night she disappeared. The FBI subsequently revealed new information about a suspect in the case as it increased the reward for information leading to Guthrie's location to $100,000.**

Throughout the investigation, police have maintained that investigators are not ruling out any individuals or possibilities. However, law enforcement sources have told NBC and ABC News that authorities do not believe the members of Guthrie's family were involved in the crime. Nanos later said that Guthrie family members were cleared in the case. Investigators are also leaning away from the man whose home was searched after he was detained in a car stop two weeks ago.
