Nina Dobrev, most known for playing Elena Gilbert in The Vampire Diaries, amped up her relaxation after celebrating Christmas with her family, looking stunning in a black string bikini.
The actress posted a new picture on Instagram on Dec. 27 that amazed her fans, as she struck a pose lying down on a bench in what looked to be a sauna pod somewhere. Dobrev rocked a simple yet stylish two-piece swimsuit in the snap, throwing an arm over her eyes as she relaxed.
Behind Dobrev, the pod had a big window that showed off a gorgeous and peaceful waterfront. The 36-year-old captioned the photo, "mentally on airplane mode."

Fans couldn't get over the envy-inducing update from the actress, with one fan writing in the comments, "seriously speechless for ur beauty."
"Literally PERFECTION!!!!!" declared someone else, as other excited replies read, "Oh my god oh my god oh my god," "Okay literal model!!" and "God dam gonna break the instagram feed 🔥🔥."
"People aren’t supposed to look like this during the holidays," joked a different fan, while more people called her a "work of art" and "top tier."
Another of Dobrev's fans asked the star to share where the photo was taken, leaving the comment, "I NEED THE NAME OF THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE & actually also ur work out😮."

On Dec. 26, Dobrev shared a peek at her holiday celebrations with fans, posting some photos with her parents, as well as her brother Alexander and his family. The entire crew dressed in holiday attire, while Dobrev baked a delicious-looking dessert with a young child who is likely her brother's kid.

"Merry christmas you filthy animals (from these filthy animals) ♥️🎅🏼🎄," Dobrev captioned the update. She also shared a video of the Canadian flag in her post, confirming that she traveled back to Canada to spend the holidays with her family.
Dobrev appears to be doing well these days. Only a few months ago, she split up with her former fiancé, Shaun White, with whom she first started dating in 2019. They got engaged in 2024, but officially broke up this fall.
