Nicole Kidman Shares Rare Photos With Her Daughters Enjoying the “Trip of a Lifetime”

Nicole Kidman was joined by her teenage daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret on a “trip of a lifetime.”
The family, along with Kidman’s sister Antonia, traveled to Iceland, which the Oscar winner called a “Beautiful country.”
Kidman posted a photo dump of the trip to her Instagram on August 18.
Nicole Kidman just returned from the “trip of a lifetime,” taking her daughters Sunday Rose, 18, and Faith Margaret, 15, along with her to Iceland.
On August 18, the actress shared a peek at her family vacation, calling Iceland a “Beautiful country.”
“We love you Iceland!!” she concluded her post, which featured photos of Kidman solo and shots of the Practical Magic 2 star with her daughters and also with her sister, Antonia.
In one shot of Kidman leaning against the railing of a boat, her curls took center stage, and in another photo, the Lioness actress posed in a blue bikini in a hot tub, her hair tied up in a top knot.

Despite a busy acting career, Kidman told Extra in July that her family always comes first, which was backed up by Kidman’s co-star Zoe Saldaña. “As soon as Nicole finishes, she flies home to her family,” Saldaña said. “And it’s so beautiful to see, too.”
“I go home to my family,” Kidman added. “I’ve got one child in junior year and one who’s a freshman. So I was like, ‘Okay, I got to be there taking care,’ you know? Multitasking, right?”

Speaking to Allure in May 2025, Kidman said that she is “very close” with her two teenage daughters, whom she shares with ex-husband Keith Urban. “I get to be their guide,” the Oscar winner said.
“If they want to tell me to be quiet, they can,” she said. “I’m able to apologize to them. I’m able to stand up to them. I very much like the relationship we have. It’s nice to be able to say that.”

A source close to the family told People that Kidman, Sunday, and Faith “have been inseparable, spending time together bonding” in the immediate aftermath of Kidman’s surprising split from Urban last year after nearly 19 years of marriage. In May, to mark Mother’s Day, the Scarpetta star wrote that her “greatest joy” is being her children’s mother.
Kidman is also mom to daughter Bella and son Connor, whom she shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise. Of Sunday and Faith, Kidman previously said that she finds parenting teenagers “extraordinary,” adding, “We’re so close, the three of us—we talk about everything.”

“It means sitting on the end of their bed, when they say, ‘Come in here, sit down,’” Kidman said. “And you go in, and you’re exhausted, and you sit down and you listen. And I always say, ‘Do you want me to give you advice now, or are you just sort of venting?’” She added, “Primarily I get told no advice. 90 percent of the time.”
Speaking to Elle Australia, Sunday—who attended the 2026 Met Gala alongside her mother and who has a burgeoning modeling career—called her mom “someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life. She’s a key part of everything I do.”

Speaking to British Vogue earlier this month, Kidman admitted that she “didn’t expect” some parts of her life now, likely namely her divorce from Urban. “I had a different view of what my life was going to be, but this is what it is now,” she said. “You make all these plans and you have all these ideas of what it’s all going to be like, and then it’s…not. You have to adjust. You adapt. The future, it’s completely unknown to me right now…Strange.”
She said her new chapter is about “Trying things, making mistakes, failing, getting back up, moving on, embracing love, staying open, keeping the heart open and the possibilities.”

“There was a point where I was fearful and deeply vulnerable, which is exposing,” she added. “And then at the same time [I’m] going, ‘Well, I can either really not confront it and just curl up, or I can just go forward with an enormous amount of hope.’”
