Jen Affleck is set to star in the first season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County, a spinoff of the hit Hulu reality show

The reality TV star catches up with PEOPLE to promote her partnership with Quest Nutrition

“There’s definitely a huge difference,” she says, comparing the original series to the Orange County spinoff

Jen Affleck is giving fans a sneak peek of her new TV project.

Earlier this year, it was announced that the 27-year-old reality TV star — who rose to fame as one of the original cast members on Hulu’s Secret Lives of Mormon Wives — would be joining the cast of the spinoff series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County.

In an interview with PEOPLE to promote her partnership with Quest Nutrition, Affleck gave a teaser for what fans can expect from the forthcoming season, which she promises will be released by the end of 2026.

“There’s definitely a huge difference,” she says, comparing the original series to the Orange County spinoff.

After Affleck was cast in the California-based Mormon Wives series — alongside several faces familiar to the social media world, including Bobbi Althoff, Madison Bontempo, Aspyn Ovard, Avery Woods, Salomé Andrea, Chandler Higginson, Ashleigh Pease and McCall DaPron — she picked up her life in Utah and moved to Orange County earlier this year.

The mom of three, who is currently pregnant with baby no. 4, admits the transition wasn’t easy.

“I think I’ve just gotten used to the chaos, to be honest, ” she tells PEOPLE. “I feel like there’s been so much change.”

Before starting a new life several states away, Affleck had lived in Utah for 15 years — “so I’ve gotten really used to being around family and friends,” she says. “Moving to a new state is never easy, especially if you don’t have a set community and group.”

Luckily for Affleck, she did: Her Mormon Wives: Orange County castmates.

“I had a group to turn to, which was honestly the best thing to happen to me,” she says, calling them “the best.” “I don’t know how I would have gotten through this last chapter without it.”

As the series is wrapping production on its first season, Affleck tells PEOPLE she doesn’t want to give too much away just yet — but she can say that it was a “great season.”

“I feel like every girl on the show has so much to offer, and each one of them has an empowering story to share,” adds the MomTok member. “I’m really hoping that when people watch it, they can get something out of it — whether they can relate to it or learn from it.”

Amid the craziness of her new life in California, Affleck has also turned to another constant in her life: Quest Nutrition. The brand’s protein bars were the first that she ever encountered, and so they’ve been “a part of my life and routine for the longest time, “ she said, noting that the convenience of their Stacks Bars has made them a go-to while juggling three kids and another on the way.

And recently, with the launch of Quest Dill Pickle Chips and her pregnancy craving of pickle-flavored anything, the brand has become even more of a mainstay in her routine.

“I’m snacking on those, and everyone around me is obsessed with them, too,” she says.
