Kelly Osbourne is speaking out after a barrage of commentary about her body and recent weight loss.

Hours after Kelly attended the 2026 BRIT Awards to collect a lifetime achievement award on behalf of her late father, Ozzy Osbourne, the TV star indicated that she was inundated with unkind remarks about her appearance. Addressing the negativity on social media, Osbourne shut down trolls, making it clear that she's tired of getting body-shaming comments after every public appearance.

"There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something," she began her Sunday Instagram Stories post. "Kicking me while I’m down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most."

She added that such unkind remarks reveal "a profound absence of compassion and character."

Kelly concluded, "I’m currently going through the hardest time in my life. I should not even have to defend myself. But I won’t sit here and allow myself to be dehumanized in such a way!"

The past few months have marked an emotional period for the Osbourne family. In July, Kelly's father, the heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne, died at 76 after suffering a heart attack amid health issues including Parkinson's disease. Since then, several of the Black Sabbath frontman's family members have been open about the difficulty of enduring their grief.

On Saturday, Kelly joined mother Sharon Osbourne onstage as Ozzy was posthumously honored at the BRIT Awards. Sharon paid tribute to her late husband, telling the crowd, "If Ozzy was here tonight with us, he would be showing us that gorgeous smile that he had, and I know he would be so proud to receive this from the country that he loved. So he may not be here, but he left us one amazing body of work that will never be forgotten by the country that made him."

Kelly added, "Thank you for loving my father as much as we do."

The Sunday post is not the first time Kelly has fended off unkind remarks in the wake of her father's death. Just last week, she responded to a particularly upsetting Instagram comment, which read, “Looks like a dead body… She’s tooooo thin and fragile… Looks like she’s going to see her dad soon."

Sharing a screenshot of the comment to her IG Stories, Kelly wrote, "Literally can't believe how disgusting some human beings truly are! No one deserves this sort of abuse!"

She added, "This too shall pass, but, like, holy f---."

Prior to that, Kelly addressed her weight loss in a now-deleted social media video shared in December.

"To the people who keep thinking they’re being funny and mean by writing comments like 'Are you ill' or 'Get off Ozempic, you don’t look right.' My dad just died, and I’m doing the best that I can, and the only thing I have to live for right now is my family," Kelly said at the time, per PEOPLE. "So to all those people, f--- off."
