Jennifer Garner delighted fans with a dose of nostalgia during her appearance on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, Feb. 20. The actress lit up while talking about her on-screen reunion with her longtime friend and former costar, Judy Greer.
The pair share a beloved on-screen history, and their latest collaboration in season 2 of The Last Thing He Told Me has clearly struck a chord with audiences. Reflecting on the public’s reaction, Garner, 53, summed it up perfectly.
“When people see Judy they go nuts for her because she’s been in so many great films,” she told Norton, 62. “And then, when they see us together, it makes people lose their minds. Now more than ever 13 Going on 30 causes a sensation.”

In the 2004 romantic comedy, Garner played Jenna Rink, a 13-year-old girl who magically wakes up in her 30-year-old body, and has to navigate adulthood with teenage energy and heart.
Greer, 50, portrayed Lucy “Tom-Tom” Wyman, Jenna’s childhood best friend who grows into a sharp-tongued magazine executive. Their complicated friendship became one of the film’s most memorable dynamics and remains a fan favorite decades later.
Now, the actresses are sharing the screen again on new episodes of the Apple TV thriller. The series, adapted from Laura Dave's 2021 hit novel, follows a woman who forms an unexpected relationship with her stepdaughter while searching for her missing husband.

Their on-screen reunion, however, wasn’t just meaningful for fans — it was a joy behind the scenes as well. In a June 2025 interview with PEOPLE, Greer admitted that the pair got into “a lot of trouble” for “talking too much” on set.
“There were definitely times where we had to self-separate in order to get through a scene,” she recalled. Nevertheless, Greer said they had the best time getting “paid to hang out with people you love."
