CIA, which stars Tom Ellis and Nick Gehlfuss, premieres on Monday, Feb. 23, on CBS. The procedural spinoff follows Ellis and Gehlfuss' characters, CIA agent Colin Glass and FBI agent Bill Goodman, respectively, as "two unlikely partners" who get off to a "rocky start" working together in New York City.
The two agents "must learn to work together to investigate cases and criminals posing threats on U.S. soil, finding that their differences may actually be their strength," according to the show's synopsis.
The series premieres on Feb. 23 at 10 p.m. ET and is scheduled to air every Monday on CBS.

CIA season 1 premieres on Monday, Feb. 23 at 10 p.m. ET on CBS. The pilot episode, called "Directed Energy," introduces Glass and Goodman as two agents who approach crimes and terrorism threats vastly differently but must come together to find a "top-secret weapon" stolen from a U.S. defense contractor.
"Their new partnership gets off to a rocky start, but they soon realize their opposing viewpoints may be their greatest asset," the pilot's description reads.
The second episode, titled "Fatal Defect," follows the pair tasked with tracking down a "known smuggler" with "unidentified cargo," but their mission gets even more complicated with they have to work with a "foreign intelligence officer looking to defect."

In addition to Glass and Goodman, the show also introduced other main cast members Natalee Linez as CIA analyst Gina Gosian and Necar Zadegan as CIA deputy chief Nikki Reynard. Viewers can also expect to see crossover characters Jubal Valentine (Jeremy Sisto), Maggie Bell (Missy Peregrym) and Isobel Castille (Alana de la Garza).

New episodes of CIA will air at 10 p.m. ET and run for an hour. The show airs as part of CBS' midseason schedule.

CIA season 1 episodes are scheduled to air every Monday beginning with the premiere on Feb. 23. CBS has not released an official season 1 episode release schedule, but the following episodes have been announced:

While the full schedule hasn't been released, Ellis teased that viewers can expect a similar format each week that was inspired by FBI.
"Obviously, we're going to work in the world of the procedural format that we've set up on FBI," Ellis told TVLine in June 2025. "What we're looking to do is explore the notion of why these agencies don't normally work together."
Ellis added that the series will also test his and Gehlfuss' character's relationship, as "they have very different philosophies about how to achieve their goals."
