Chris Pratt is sharing why his younger children have never seen any movies.
The Guardians of the Galaxy actor, 46, sat down with Today to talk about returning to the Super Mario Brother's franchise and reclaiming his role as Mario. When asked if his kids think he's "cool" for starring in the film, he revealed that his younger children —Ford, 16 months, Eloise, 3, and Lyla, 5 — that he shares with wife Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt have yet to watch any movies.
"My 5-year-old, my 3-year-old and my 1-year-old have never seen movies," The Super Mario Galaxy Movie star told Craig Melvin on Today. "Katherine is very old-school when it comes to screens and technology and all of that stuff. So, we're waiting."
Pratt, who's also a father to son Jack, 13, with ex-wife Anna Faris, went on to share that he's excited for the moment in the future when his children realize their actor dad is cool.
"There's gonna be a season, they're gonna realize their dad is really cool," he teased. "They haven't realized it yet, but one day."
While his kids may not have seen him on the big screen, Schwarzenegger Pratt confirmed he's the star of their household. During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE earlier this month, the doting mom told PEOPLE that her husband's humor helps them during "challenging" times.
