Chris Hemsworth recently shared that one particular tattoo, which once held a lot of importance for him, is no longer that special. This tattoo was inspired by his daughter’s drawing, and it was made clear that he has grown a little tired of it. But he also clarified how removing it has never really been an option. He explained how this tattoo was very important to his daughter.

Chris Hemsworth, a dad of three with wife Elsa Pataky, recently appeared on the latest episode of SmartLess, featuring none other than Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes. This is exactly where he opened up about the story behind some of the coveted tattoos on his body. He also opened up about the fact that some of these pieces have actually grown old, making him feel like he’s “sick” of them.
Talking about this tattoo situation, he explained, “My Dr. Seuss tattoo, I used to read that book to her a lot, and my mom read it to me. ‘Oh, the Places You’ll Go,’ and she would just draw that little character and love it. And so I got that tattoo.” Discussing the supposed removal scenario, Hemsworth added about an interaction with his daughter, India, “A few years later, I was like, I’m kinda sick of it.”

He further elaborated, “So I started getting it taken off, I did like one laser session, and then she came home one day, and she goes, ‘It’s rubbing off. What happened to it? It’s rubbing off.” He further explained how he was sick of it and wanted to remove it. To this, he responded, saying, “Suddenly, she goes, ‘No. I love it.’ So, it’s now kind of half faded, you know, but it’s still there.”
The Thor actor also revealed that he has more tattoos inspired by his daughter on his arm.
