Shaunda Haire's 4-year-old daughter Scarlett is obsessed with Harry Styles
The mom and content creator said Scarlett's been listening to the singer since she was 19 months old
Now, Haire hopes to bring her daughter to one of Styles' future concerts
Shaunda Haire remembers exactly where she was when her daughter Scarlett heard Harry Styles' songs for the first time.
"I remember the day Harry entered our lives vividly," she tells PEOPLE. "It was January 11, 2023 and Scarlett was around 19 months old. [My boyfriend] Sam came home from work and before he even put his things down, he says, 'This song came on on my way home and it was so catchy.'"
Haire's boyfriend put the song on — Styles' 2019 hit "Adore You" — and quickly noticed that Scarlett was acting a little strange.

"A few seconds into the song, Scarlett drops what she's doing and stands up and started dancing," she remembers. "But this reaction wasn't like when she'd normally hear a song on in the background. It was noticeably different to me. It was like she had become entranced...like she was under a spell."
Haire, who didn't grow up as a big One Direction fan, says that after the song ended, her daughter wanted to hear it over and over again. After they'd exhausted the audio version, Haire decided to see if there was a music video.
"We watched that music video for the rest of the night. It was the first thing she asked for the next morning," says Haire. "We watched it on repeat the whole day."
"Most 2-year-olds wanted to watch Bluey or Sesame Street, but not Scarlett. It was Harry from the time she woke up until she went to bed," she continues. "We would even have to watch a bedtime story video he has on YouTube as part of her bedtime routine."

Eventually, Scarlett made her way through all the music videos that Styles had released. On her second birthday that year, Styles released the video for his song "Satellite," and nobody could convince Scarlett that it wasn't a direct birthday gift to her.
"She sat and waited for the premiere and said that was the 'best gift' that she received," says Haire. "When he went on his hiatus, she stayed dedicated. When she needed new Harry content, that's when she went on a deep dive into his One Direction days. She has been in his top 0.1% of his listeners across multiple platforms in 2023, 2024 and 2025."

Haire says she had no idea that her daughter's obsession would last over the years. She shares that Scarlett has a picture of Styles that goes with her everywhere, and has told everyone for years that he is her boyfriend.
"Harry is all over my house. The first thing you see when you walk in is a tapestry of Harry hanging on the wall over the couch," says Haire. "In the car, we listen to Harry. She has Harry Styles Crocs. We celebrate his birthday every year. She had a Harry Styles birthday party."

On Scarlett's 3rd birthday, Haire's mom got her a miniature dachshund, whom she promptly named Styles. Although they've never seen the singer in real life, Scarlett tells Santa Claus every year that the only thing she wants for Christmas is the real Harry Styles.
Haire began sharing videos of Scarlett on her TikTok, which has garnered her many fans and followers. The proud mom says that other Harry fans "love her" and will often tag his team in her TikToks to try and get his attention.
Styles is set to head back on tour this summer after an extended hiatus, and many of Scarlett's fans were hoping she'd be able to see the musician this time around. Unfortunately, Haire explains that it wasn't possible this year.

"We were gonna try to make it happen and get her to a show at Madison Square Garden, but it was financially impossible," she says. "We're hoping he will go on another tour next year or so, and will come closer to home."
"She's already convinced that whenever she does go to a Harry concert that she is going to be able to meet him. I know that she will be very disappointed to be in the same room as him and not be able to meet him, so I would like to at least be able to get her good seats and I'm hoping that will be more feasible if he comes closer to home," adds Haire.
As for Scarlett's favorite Styles song? Aside from her first love, "Adore You," there are a few others she likes.
"She also really likes 'Watermelon Sugar,' 'Sweet Creature,' 'Cinema' and 'Fine Line,'" says Haire. "We pre-ordered Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally the moment it was announced, and we have a countdown that we update daily for its release. She checks every morning to see how many days are left!"
